Spiced Apple and Yogurt Overnight Oats

Ingredients

1 cup of Bellwether Farms Yogurt
1 ½ cup of old-fashioned / rolled oats
2 Apples, diced
2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 cup of milk of choice
2 tbs Maple syrup
Chopped nuts

Directions

To make the spiced apples, add the apples and a splash of water to a saucepan.

Cook for 5 minutes until softened and water evaporates. Then add 1 tbsp butter, cinnamon, maple syrup, and lemon juice.

Saute for an additional 10 minutes, stirring constantly, until soft.

Set aside until it is time to assemble. Set out your 4 containers for the overnight oats.

In a large bowl, mix together 1 cup of Bellwether Farms yogurt and 1 cup of milk, Stir until the mixture is smooth.

Add oatmeal and cinnamon and stir until well combined. Scoop oatmeal mixture into the individual jars, then add the spiced apples, and top with chopped nuts.

Refrigerate overnight and enjoy in the morning. If you prefer warming them up, place them in the microwave for 30 second intervals until your desired temperature.
