We just debuted our last lunch for the season, which will run till October 31. First course - Heirloom Tomato Salad utilizing late season tomatoes from the garden and layered with Bellwether Farms Ricotta, Lemon Cucumber, Tomatillo Sala Verde, Hidden Rose Apple and Shiso Verjus vinaigrette with house made brioche croutons. Paired perfectly with a crispy Chardonnay with structure. Everything but the Ricotta from our garden. Ricotta from a few miles away. Seasonal, local, delicious. Yum!😋

I know I posted another photo of bellwetherfarms lemon ricotta pancakes not too long ago, but they are just so delicious. I had to make some more this week, before leaving to visit my dad in Colorado. I love making meals using local, seasonal ingredients. I used local ricotta cheese, lemons from my mom’s tree, local eggs from the farmers market, & I topped this batch with local pomegranate from the farmers market too. The only things grown somewhere other than Sonoma were the flour & sugar. It was kind-of shocking to get to my dad’s house & see lots of raspberries & strawberries in the fridge, which are probably 3-5 months away from being in-season in the US. #localingredients #lemonricottapancakes #bellwetherfarms

🐑🐑🐑 Our local health food store harvesthealthfoods was able to order us a whole case of the Vanilla Sheep Yogurt from bellwetherfarms!!! So thankful for places like this that can hopefully help make Remi’s maintenance a little simpler for all of us. 🤍 We had to dose in volume (mixed with 2-3oz starchy carb) so Remi loved it in jasmine rice with garlic salt. Today we added her 10mls to crushed Oreos and added some chocolate sauce. It tasted like cheesecake 😋 What are some of the ways you guys do sheep yogurt? 🐑🐑🐑
